Posted February 19, 2020 in News

February 20, 2020 Mt. Pleasant, SC – Carolina Park, Mt. Pleasant’s premier master-planned community, has announced that Raleigh, NC-based Homes by Dickerson has joined the Riverside Custom Builder Team. This brings the total number of builders in the Riverside custom homes community to seven.

“Homes by Dickerson is a tremendous addition our team and a wonderful complement to our other builders,” said Brian Keels of Carolina Park Development. “They bring more than 40 years of experience, creating exceptional homes while providing their clients with the high-level service Riverside homebuyers have come to expect.”

Founded in 1975, the company is headquartered in Raleigh, NC, but has more recently established a presence in the Charleston area and quickly developed a strong following.  Becoming part of the Riverside Custom Builder Team fits perfectly into the company’s plans for the region.

“Riverside at Carolina Park is the only new community in Mt. Pleasant where buyers can create a truly custom home and enjoy all of the benefits that come with being part of a masterplanned community,” said Jonathan Bailey, Division President. “For Homes by Dickerson, the opportunity to become part of this extraordinary place was one that we absolutely could not pass up.”

Already home to more than 200 families, Riverside is set on 545 acres, half of which are permanently preserved. This ensures that the natural beauty of the land will be preserved for generations to come and reflects the developer’s commitment to creating a community that is both beautiful and enduring.

“We’ve worked very hard to create something that’s special today and will be special years from now,” says Keels. “With seven award-winning custom builders, we’re giving homebuyers a range of choices and possibilities that is virtually limitless.”

Homes by Dickerson will be building in Riverside’s popular Bolden Lake neighborhood, home to Bolden Park and its 20-acre centerpiece, Bolden Lake. Future plans for the neighborhood include a new resort-style pool overlooking the lake as well as Wando River access featuring a crabbing dock and kayak launch.

“When you look at everything Riverside has to offer – the schools, the amenities, the natural beauty - it’s clear there’s nothing else like it in Mt. Pleasant,” said Haley Cuzzell, Community Sales Manager. “The addition of Homes by Dickerson gives homebuyers one more amazing reason to call Riverside home.”
