Carolina Park Elementary School
Opened in August 2017 and already rated "Excellent" by the South Carolina Department of Education, Carolina Park Elementary is a state-of-the-art, K-5 learning facility with a capacity of 900 students, expandable to 1,200. The school's location within Carolina Park allows for easy access by bike or on foot for many of our community's young residents.
Carolina Park Academy
Carolina Park Academy is a private pre-school that provides nurturing childcare and educational programs in a play-based setting to children ages 8 weeks through 5 years old. The school is open year-round from 7:00AM to 6:00PM, offering half-day and school year schedules to pre-school children ages 3 and 4 years old.
Wando High School
Ranked among South Carolina's top public high schools, Wando High School has consistently earned an "Excellent" rating and stands as proof that a large, public, non-magnet high school serving a diverse population can produce outstanding results. The school offers more than 250 course selections including AP and Dual Credit, while also providing outstanding opportunities for students with interests in athletics, music, the arts and more.
East Cooper Center for Advanced Studies
The 130,000 square foot East Cooper Center for Advanced Studies bridges the gap between high school and college, providing technical skills and training beyond the high school level. Operating in partnership with Trident Technical College, this outstanding career and technical school is home to nearly 600 students, and is located on 5 acres directly adjacent to the Wando High School campus.
Oceanside Collegiate Academy
Oceanside Collegiate Academy is a charter high school serving students in a safe, small, family-centered environment who seek the opportunity and challenge of a rigorous curriculum, high academic standards, and elite athletics while earning up to two years of college credit before graduation.
Wando Mt. Pleasant Public Library
Opened in June 2019, this 40,000 square foot state-of-the-art library provides residents of Carolina Park and the surrounding community with an unparalleled educational and informational resource. The library, which serves as the cornerstone of Carolina Park's "Knowledge Hub," features everything from a digital media suite, maker's studios and large meeting spaces to separate areas for kids and adults - including outdoor reading areas.
