For many of the families who have chosen to make Carolina Park their home, the local schools are a big part of the decision-making process. From pre-school to elementary all the way up through high school, there’s no question that Carolina Park kids attend some of the best schools in the Lowcountry and the entire state.
Wando High School, located on land provided to the city by Carolina Park, is widely recognized as one of the state’s premier public high schools. It’s academic standards and the performance of it students and staff earn awards and accolades with astonishing regularity. But not all of the school’s successes happen in the classroom.
On April 29, eight members of the senior class signed letters of intent to play college athletics, participating in sports ranging from volleyball to track to baseball to lacrosse.
Carolina Park would like to offer our congratulations to these eight student athletes, as well as their coaches, families and the entire Wando High School community.
