News and Announcments | Burton joins builder team

Carolina Park Development has announced the newest addition to its already impressive team of builders. The Burton Company, with more than two decades of custom homebuilding experience, brings the number of builders at Carolina Park to six.

“The Burton Company will add to the range and diversity of homes we’re able to offer, particularly in our Riverside neighborhood,” says Brian Keels, Marketing Director for Carolina Park. “Burton’s experience with ‘right-sized’ homes, along with their commitment to detail, craftsmanship and quality, is going to strike a chord with a lot of buyers.”

The Burton Company’s homes will incorporate high-end features and superior fit and finish into designs that are both flexible and efficient. With cottage-style exteriors, wide, welcoming porches, first floor master bedrooms, expansive open living spaces and energy efficient features throughout, the 2,400-2,600 square foot homes will sit on large, private Riverside homesites convenient to Carolina Park’s many amenities, including the recently opened Residents Club.

“We are pleased and honored to become a part of the Carolina Park builder team,” said Jack Burton, owner of The Burton Company. “As long-time custom homebuilders in the Mount Pleasant/East Cooper area, I’m confident we’ll provide the perfect complement to the other builders in the neighborhood.”

Carolina Park is a 1,700-acre master-planned community located along Highway 17 in Mount Pleasant. The property incorporates Wando High School as well as Roper St. Francis Mount Pleasant Hospital, and will eventually become home to more than 1,500 families. Six of the region’s top homebuilders are now onboard, offering new homes starting in the $300s and custom homes in the new Riverside at Carolina Park neighborhood starting in the $500s.

“We’re incredibly proud of our builder team, and The Burton Company is a perfect addition to the mix,” said Haley Cuzzell, Community Sales Manager for Carolina Park. “We’ve made a real effort to offer a variety of choices to our customers. With the addition of Burton, we’ve expanded that appeal nicely to reach clients who want the features, quality and aesthetic appeal of a traditional larger custom home in one that is sized for their needs.”
