As 2015 came to a close, another enormously successful year at Carolina Park came to an end. And whether that success is measured in terms of overall sales, new residents, new amenities or pure momentum, it’s hard to argue when Carolina Park Marketing Director Brian Keels says it was a year that exceeded expectations.

“We had a great year in 2014, and had every reason to be optimistic heading into 2015. But I can’t honestly say we anticipated the level of success we’ve experienced,” says Keels. “Overall, we have more than 430 homes closed or under contract since we started selling. So whether you’re talking about the diverse offerings of The Village or the custom homes of Riverside, it’s clear that people really want to be part of what we’re creating here.”

Sales for 2015 outpaced sales in 2014, indicating that demand has continued to grow just as quickly as Carolina Park’s reputation for being one of the region’s premier master-planned communities. That’s due in no small part to the wide range of home designs available within the 1,700-acre community.

“From the townhomes, cottages and classic single-family homes in The Village to the custom-designed, custom-built homes in the Riverside neighborhood, we’ve seen a strong, steady increase in awareness and interest,” says Haley Cuzzell, Community Sales Manager. “The truth is, we have a great location, an amazing range and quality of homes, and an unparalleled collection of amenities - including a new elementary school scheduled to open in 2017. Once homebuyers see and feel all of that, they want to become part of it.”

Another part of the community’s appeal is the extensive Builder Team featuring some of the most recognized names in the southeast. With the addition of FrontDoor Communities in 2015, that team has grown to nine builders, with eight offering custom homes in the Riverside neighborhood. And those builders have been staying busy, working to complete existing neighborhoods while breaking ground on homes in three new ones. Add to that a constantly growing list of amenities and community resources, and Carolina Park clearly stands out as a unique and appealing choice.

“The town of Mount Pleasant is getting close to completion on a brand new Fire and EMS station, we’ve begun construction on a new Outdoor Pavilion at our Residents Club, and we announced that a new elementary school will open in Carolina Park in 2017,” said Mr. Keels. “In addition, funding has been approved for a public library that’s already in the planning stages, and we’re continuing to enhance our outdoor amenities by adding new trails, lakes and open spaces. We want our residents to be able to enjoy every aspect of life in the Lowcountry, and we’re working hard to make sure they can do that right here at home.”
