Carolina Park, one of the area’s fastest growing master-planned communities, announced that first quarter sales of new homes have once again exceeded forecasts. According to Brian Keels, Marketing Director, this can be attributed to a number of factors including the successful pre-selling of two new phases featuring semi-custom homes, as well as the positive increase of sales in Riverside, the community’s custom home neighborhood.

“We had a terrific year in 2013 and are hoping we can sustain the momentum we built,” said Keels. “If these first few months are any indication, 2014 is going to be even more successful for Carolina Park.”

From January through March 2014, more than 40 new homes have been sold. Many of those sales occurred in the recently introduced Phases 3 and 4 with homes by Ryland Homes, David Weekley Homes and Saussy Burbank. Of those, 14 new custom homes were sold in Riverside, where overall sales in that neighborhood are approaching 50 since it was introduced a year ago. New homes in Carolina Park start in the mid $300s, and custom homes start in the $500s.

“What we’re offering in terms of home styles, features and options, build quality, amenities and, of course, our location have really set us apart,” continued Keels. “Homebuyers appreciate that our diverse range of floor plans appeal to everyone from young families looking for room to grow to empty-nesters interested in primarily first-floor living. They love the homes and feel of this community, and they want to be part of that.”

Also differentiating Carolina Park is the fact that the community currently works with seven leading homebuilders - Ryland Homes and David Weekley Homes in the semi-custom sections; Sabal Homes, Cline Homes, Structures Building Company and The Burton Company in Riverside; and Saussy Burbank in both.

Keels concluded, “With seven builders, we are able to appeal to a much broader audience than another community with only a single builder. We find that the high level of customization and quality a buyer expects is more evident with each completed home.”
