The Residents Club
Serving as a central gathering place for Village residents, this multi-faceted amenity reflects the Lowcountry-inspired architecture of the community while providing a beautiful public space for year-round enjoyment. Facilities include a junior Olympic-sized pool with zero-entry kid-friendly water features and changing rooms, nautical-themed playground, tennis courts, spacious outdoor Pavilion with large fireplace, catering kitchen and covered picnic area, dog park, and the Great Lawn - a nearly 2-acre open green space perfect for recreation, relaxation and community events. Peaceful Parks
Carolina Park boasts 80 acres of passive parkland, providing places of peace and quiet in the midst of modern, hectic life. Whether it's a place to sit and read, practice yoga, share a quiet picnic, or simply take a long, deep breath, these spaces are the perfect spots. And Riverside's Bolden Park, with its 20-acre centerpiece, Bolden Lake, will offer a mile-long lakeshore trail and expansive boardwalk with kayak and canoe launch.
Mount Pleasant Active Park
Donated to the town by Carolina Park, this 54-acre facility is currently home to four lighted, multi-purpose fields with ample room for future expansion. Three of the fields serve as home fields for Mount Pleasant’s popular SC United FC soccer program. Located just off Airport Road, the park is easily accessible to residents of the Carolina Park community.
Preservation Areas
Thanks to the developer’s commitment to preserving the natural vegetation and topography of the land, Carolina Park boasts more than 220 acres of carefully preserved wetlands and wetland buffers, as well as nearly a mile of frontage along the Wando River.
The Lake Club
Opened in July of 2021, The Lake Club stands at the heart of the Riverside custom homes community. Featuring a resort-style pool, open-air pavilion, fire pit, large areas for gathering and socializing and more - all overlooking 20-acre Bolden Lake and cooled by its summer breezes - The Lake Club is one of the Riverside community's favorite gathering spots.
In addition to our on-property features, Pivotal Fitness is located right next door in neighboring Park West — an easy jog or bike ride from home. The facility offers an indoor track, personal training, group fitness and more. Carolina Park residents will also enjoy having access to the Mount Pleasant Recreation Center, which consists of an indoor pool, playground, gymnasium, track, tennis courts and baseball, soccer and football fields.
